Sewer Smell After Flushing Toilet

Previous Next
I began noticing that after the toilet is flushed there is a sewer smell in our mobile home, like when we empty the sewer line in our RV. What is causing this, it flushes okay?
Previous Next
Could be a vent problem.
Does the toilet bubble or do you hear gurgling when you flush? Then possibly the roof vent should be checked for a blockage. Another problem could be a drain that you use rarely, which the water has evaporated out of the trap causing a sewer smell. To solve that just add water to the drain. Finally, you could have a separated pipe or a break causing a smell. To solve this you would need a plumber to verify your pipes.
